In order to keep this site on a pop-up-free and advertisement-free server, and continue putting new and updated materials onto the site, I am adding the ability to donate funding or materials. With my wife working on her graduate work, and with myself going back to school soon, it is becoming harder to allocate time and money to developing this site. For those that are interested, the current cost of maintaining the site (hosting, domain registration, and email) is approximately $100 a year. I am approaching the need to purchase additional webspace and database space for hosting the site, and those costs would raise the yearly cost to around $250. The actual time involved involved in research and html coding, as well as purchasing resources primarily for use in developing the site (academic texts, computer equipment, etc) has been far greater since 1999 when the site was launched. I will keep this site on a pop-up and ad free server regardless, because I absolutely hate such things with a deep passion. However, without enough funding available, I may be unable to expand the site to the degree I would like (there is still room for a few more photos, and additions to the current pages, as well as some new pages) due to the higher cost when going beyond the basic amount of webspace currently purchased, and in particular, the database work will continue to be highly limited as it is the highest non-basic cost. So do not worry that the site is about to fall off the face of the internet like many other sites have, I intend to keep this resource available for as long as I'm alive and the internet is working. Monetary donations may be made via the online payment service Paypal, or by mail through a check or money order. All payments in U.S. funds only please. C. David Kreger (ALAMHO) Donations in the form of educational materials relevant to human evolution studies are also welcome. In particular, casts of skeletal materials, books, article reprints, journals, slides, photographs, etc. would all be useful. Before sending any books, please make sure that they are not listed in the My Books page. Any book listed on that page I already own. In particular, any of the materials listed here: or the current text I am saving up for: Terminology and Craniodental Morphology of the Genus Homo Would be most helpful and highly appreciated. They are also high priced items, unfortunately. For those that would like to donate their own works towards building up the information on this web site, please check out the Submit Your Work page that has been posted on the website for a long time. Adding additional resources to the site will be even more appreciated than monetary donations.
